Controls in the app
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| Discovery visibility | From Profile, open My visibility to manage your discovery visibility. Hiding a discovery profile is not account deletion and does not retract information already shared with a connection. An accepted story invitation can still share information with its participants. |
| Gallery permissions | Settings → Gallery permissions shows access to your photos and, on Android, photo-location access. Device settings can restrict access or change selected photos where supported. A permission change there does not start scanning or delete records already uploaded. |
| Excluded areas | Open Excluded areas from your profile’s privacy controls (Settings → My data on iOS; Settings on Android) to remove an area from eligible history. Relevant submitted traces, visits and encounter evidence can be removed for that area; your device photos are not deleted. Re-including an area does not automatically restore deleted history. |
| Social sharing | Review the social accounts you select. Mutual hearts, super hearts and story invitations have different sharing effects. A super heart can disclose the sender’s selected details before the recipient reciprocates. |
| Story invitations | Joining a valid invitation can give its participants access to current approved cover photos. Authorized shared-place history needs the additional creator approval and can include visits at different times. Cancellation or blocking limits new access but cannot retrieve screenshots. Shared history can include each participant’s visit dates and hours at common places. |
Make a privacy request
Email paths@prodixa.app using the email associated with your Paths account where possible. Tell us what you want to request and the account it concerns. You may include your country or state if it helps us apply the relevant rights. An authorized representative should explain their authority.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, a copy or portability of information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent. We may seek proportionate verification before disclosing information or changing an account. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or an identity document unless a justified verification step is specifically requested.
Requests are handled under the applicable legal conditions and response periods. Account Settings does not currently provide a self-service data-export or request-tracking portal. An acknowledgment of this Privacy Policy is separate from consent needed for a particular processing purpose.
Regional rights and complaints
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| EEA and United Kingdom | GDPR rights can include access, correction, erasure, portability, objection and restriction, subject to their legal conditions. You may complain to the competent data-protection authority. The main Privacy Policy describes the relevant processing and response framework. |
| United States, including California | Rights depend on your state and whether its law applies. They can include access, correction, deletion, portability and certain opt-outs, including sale, sharing, targeted advertising or specified sensitive-data uses. Email a request identifying the right you wish to exercise. We do not condition ordinary service on surrendering a mandatory privacy right. |
| Privacy request appeals | If a state law gives you an appeal right, email paths@prodixa.app with the subject Paths privacy request appeal, identify the original request and explain your concern. This does not affect complaints to a competent authority. |
| Turkey | Where KVKK applies, its Article 11 rights and statutory application/complaint procedure remain available. The Turkey section of the Privacy Policy explains the applicable rights. |
| Consumer health data | A separate notice explains Washington and Nevada consumer-health-data rights where those laws apply. It includes collection, sharing, consent and deletion information. |
