| Sign in to the same account | Use the email address and sign-in method associated with your account. Email sign-in uses a 6-digit code; check your inbox and spam folder and use the resend option if needed. Apple relay addresses and different Google accounts can lead to a different account. Never share the code with another person. |
| Choose your language | Open Profile → Settings → App language. Paths supports Turkish, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French and Dutch, with a system-language option. The website language setting is separate from the app setting. |
| Get help with a problem | Open Profile → Help → Contact us, or email paths@prodixa.app. Include your app platform, app version, a short description and the time of the issue. Send only the information needed to understand the problem; do not send sign-in codes or passwords. |
Gallery access and shared history
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| Gallery permissions | Open Profile → Settings → Gallery permissions to see device permissions, change the selected photos where supported or open device settings. Android photo-location permission is separate from photo access. Changing a permission here does not start a scan or upload metadata. |
| Scan and exclusions | Gallery scanning takes place in onboarding; you can skip it there. The app reads permitted location and capture-time metadata, not gallery images for upload. Open Excluded areas from your profile’s privacy controls (Settings → My data on iOS; Settings on Android) to manage places you do not want included. Automatic home/work exclusions can miss a sensitive place; review your choices. |
| Hearts and social accounts | A mutual heart can open the selected social accounts and authorized encounter details. A super heart can disclose the sender’s selected information before the recipient reciprocates. Paths does not contain a chat inbox; later conversations occur on independent services. |
| Our story | An accepted story invitation can make current approved cover photos available to its participants. Shared-place history additionally requires the creator’s final approval and can include visits at different times. Hidden discovery visibility does not prevent sharing through an accepted story invitation. Review the person and invitation before joining. |
How discovery uses history
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| Historical encounters and shared habits | Recommendations can use eligible historical encounters, shared venues or categories and bounded profile preferences. The current shared-habit comparison uses a 365-day history window. These signals do not prove that people met or that they are compatible. |
| Recent records and retention | The most recent 72 hours are excluded from eligible encounter results; this is not a delay before metadata upload. Raw location records have scheduled expiry after 180 days from receipt. Derived visits and summaries are separate from those raw records. |
